Cook about 300 g of vegetables of your choice and keep aside.
- Cook 3 tablespoons (≈45 g) of toor dal in 600 ml of water with ½ teaspoon of cooking oil and a pinch of turmeric.
- Grind 1 tablespoon (≈15 g) of MTR Sambar Powder with grated coconut and a little jaggery (optional).
- Mix this paste with the cooked dal.
- Finally, add the cooked vegetables, simmer, and garnish with curry leaves or coriander as desired.
